Coronavirus Update

At Advanced Urology, we are committed to care for our patients during this difficult and uncertain time in the safest possible manner.

We wish to help alleviate the burden currently placed on our hospitals and urgent care centers so that they can concentrate on dealing with the effects of the virus.

To that end, we will remain open for our patients as long as we are provided the guidance to do so by the CDC and local officials.

Despite temporary changes to our regular office schedule, as always we remain available for emergencies through our regular office phone where the option to leave a non-urgent message is also available.

If you are currently experiencing fever, fatigue, body aches, cough, flu-like or respiratory symptoms or had any exposure to someone diagnosed with, or suspected of having COVID-19, please reschedule your appointment with us and contact your primary care physician.

Your follow-up visit may be appropriate follow-up visits remotely, using a web-based video conference application which works with both smart phones and computers.

This service is covered by Medicare, most Medicare Advantage plans, and many commercial insurance plans.

Please inquire with your carrier to determine your Telemedicine coverage.

Telemedicine services are offered to patients without Telehealth benefits on a fee for service basis. Please inquire with the office regarding rates.

We are asking our patients to arrive for their appointment either alone or with no more than one individual, over the age of 18.

We have reduced and spaced the seating in our waiting room and respectfully request that companions wait in the car or outside in the foyer area of our building.

If you also wish to wait outside, kindly provide us with your mobile number at the time of check in and we will call you when the clinical staff is ready to see you.

  • We clean and disinfect each patient room before and after every patient visit.

  • Door knobs, sinks, desks, chairs, counters, surfaces and equipment are wiped down and disinfected repeatedly throughout the day.

  • The waiting room and bathroom are cleaned at least hourly.

  • Hand-washing is strongly encouraged in each of our exam rooms before and after your visit.

Please note this portal is not to be used for medical emergencies.

In case of medical emergency, please dial 911 or proceed to your nearest Emergency Room.
